Asked when you install
- Read orders. Your sales, refunds, discount codes and shipping charges. This powers revenue by channel, real profit per sale, Today and the Watchdog checks. Shopify treats order details as protected customer data.
- Read customer events and write pixels. These run Zyro's Web Pixel inside Shopify checkout, where theme scripts can't run, so checkout steps and payment errors count.
Asked only when you use the feature
- Read products and read inventory. Reads the cost per item you keep in Shopify, so Profit needs no retyping.
- Read and write discounts. Creates one-time codes when you swap a shared code. Starter and up.
- Read shipping and read markets. Shows your shipping zones and duty settings on the Shipping and Customs tabs.
If you say no, the rest of Zyro keeps working.
What Zyro never asks for
Zyro can't change your products, orders, customers or theme files. The tracker and product block are app embeds you switch on yourself in the theme editor. Card details never reach Zyro.
