Zyro runs inside your Shopify admin, so there's no separate login or password. Setup has two parts: install the app, then switch on one app embed in your theme.
Steps
- Install the app. Open Zyro on the Shopify App Store and choose Install. Shopify shows what Zyro can access. Approve it to finish.
- Pick a plan if Shopify asks. Revenue by channel is free on every plan. You can change plans later in your Shopify admin.
- Open the theme editor. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. On your live theme, choose Customize.
- Switch on Zyro Tracker. Open App embeds in the left sidebar. Turn on Zyro Tracker, then choose Save.
- Check it works. Open your store in a new tab and visit a few pages. Within a few minutes, Today in Zyro starts counting visitors, and the Tracking check in Watchdog no longer says Not turned on.
Sales come straight from your Shopify orders, so there's nothing to add to your checkout.
If it doesn't work
- You didn't save. The switch only takes effect after you choose Save in the theme editor.
- Wrong theme. Each theme has its own app embed settings. Switch it on in the theme your customers see.
- Check the page code. On your store, right-click and choose View page source, then search for
shopify-boot. If it isn't there, the app embed is off.
- Cookie banner. If your store asks shoppers for cookie consent, Zyro only counts visitors who accept analytics. Accept it when you test.
- An old snippet. If you pasted Zyro's code into
theme.liquid before, remove it. The app embed replaces it.
