Types of Heatmap Insights

  • Dead Clicks: Users clicking on elements that look like buttons but aren't. This signals "Rage Clicks" and frustration.
  • Scroll Depth: Are users seeing your Call to Action (CTA)? If only 20% scroll to the footer, move your CTA up.
  • Movement Maps: Where does the mouse hover? This correlates with attention.
