Set it up
- Open Shopify Flow in your Shopify admin. Flow needs a Shopify plan that includes it.
- Create a workflow. Pick a Zyro trigger to start it, or add a Zyro action to a workflow you have.
- Turn it on. In the Zyro app, Settings, Automate with Shopify Flow shows which Zyro triggers have a workflow on.
Zyro sends an event only when one of your workflows uses that trigger. Zyro's ready-made templates are not in Flow's template library yet, so build your own for now.
Zyro triggers
- Watchdog alert opened and Watchdog alert resolved: the check, how urgent, what happened and how it closed.
- Test winner found: the test, the winning version, the lift and how sure Zyro is, by the same rules as the app.
- Pop-up sign-up captured: the pop-up, the email and any code or prize.
- Shopper moment detected: ready to buy, slipping away or left a full cart.
- Border rule took effect, Ad money guard verdict reached, Parcel got stuck and AI shelf readiness dropped. The Ad money guard and AI shelf triggers use products, so they need product access in Zyro.
Zyro actions
- Pause a Zyro pop-up (by name or ID, or "all") and Resume a Zyro pop-up.
- Pause all Zyro tests. Pop-ups are not touched.
- Start a prepared Zyro test: a saved test that has not ended.
- Add a note to the Zyro Morning Brief: up to 300 characters, 20 a day. It goes into your next Brief.
Actions follow the same plan rules as Zyro's own buttons, so a pop-up resumes only if your plan has room for it. Zyro actions in Flow are on Starter and up. Every run is written to your activity log, so it also shows in the Brief's "Zyro did".
Consent and shopper emails
A pop-up sign-up goes to Flow only when the shopper ticked yes to marketing. A shopper moment goes only for a shopper whose email Zyro holds from a Zyro pop-up with a marketing yes, and who has not said no since. Zyro reads nothing from Shopify's customer data, and it blanks the email in its own copy once the event is sent.
See what ran
The Automate with Shopify Flow section in Settings shows each trigger (workflow on, no workflow yet), how many events went out this week, how many failed and why, each action's runs, and the notes waiting for your next Brief. Watchdog has a Shopify Flow check for stores that use Flow, and alerts you when Flow isn't getting Zyro's events.
If it doesn't work
- Nothing reaches Flow. Check that the workflow is on. Zyro only sends to stores with a workflow on that trigger.
- Some events not sent. Each plan has a daily limit of Flow events. The Settings section says when the limit or your plan held events back.
- An action failed. Flow shows Zyro's reason, such as "no pop-up called X" or that your plan's live tests are full.
